Let’s Grow!
Often clients ask me, what does life coaching encompass? Here are some of the things to anticipate in working with me:
Exploring Goals/Desires
We will identify your goals and desires to help set realistic and achievable expectations.
Exploring Feelings
We will explore feelings – feelings matter. Feelings connect deeply to our wants and needs and often are the whispers of our heart and soul trying to get our attention.
Exploring Beliefs
We will explore thought cycles and beliefs. Uncovering faulty core beliefs and present thought patterns can reveal much about the blocks and barriers keeping us from living the best version of ourselves. Thought work can be an essential component in accomplishing your goals and living your best life.
Exploring Your Story
We will explore your story – understanding how life experiences have informed and shaped you. Where are you currently in the story of your life AND where do you want to be? I can help you find the answers to these questions and determine a way forward.
My Philosophy
The Life Coaching Experience
Life coaching focuses primarily on the present and the future. Coaching may involve all areas of a client’s personal and professional life – relationships, career, personal development, self-image, for example. Coaching is a great fit for those who are working to grow, change, and experience greater success and happiness in life, work, and relationships.
Life coaching is not therapy. A life coach does not diagnose or treat psychological or mental health issues. Coaching is different from therapy in that we will address any obstacles that keep you from achieving your goals, but we will not engage in therapy or any psychological area or issues. This is a primary distinction between Coaching and Counseling.
